Yet another week has gone by, and the lovely land of Romania will soon be behind us. It has been a blessed week for team Set Ablaze, as we have seen many miracles, healings and youth being stirred up in their spirit.
We know that it is a huge prayer answer for us even to be here, as there has not been a Jesus Revolution team in Romania for many years. We also know that there are walls that need to be torn down and changed into new ways of thinking, in order for the gospel to blossom in the nation. As the country has a strong orthodox tradition, Pentecostal Christians are frowned upon. We believe as Christians that we are responsible for the people that we meet, and that it is important to meet everyone with the love, patience and understanding of Christ.

One of the beautiful ornate traditional churches
However, we are happy to report that the Spirit of God is not bound up in tradition, but fully alive and he has shown us that yet again. We have seen many miracles take place this week. Signe Marie shares:
“I prayed for a girl that had constant pain in both feet because she had flat feet. After I prayed for her, the pain immediately left. I also prayed with three people to be baptized in the Holy Spirit, and after I prayed for them they started to speak in new tongues. They were jumping up and down, clapping and crying with joy.”
There were also many healings that took place during the dance workshop. Signe Marie continues:
“There was a girl that twisted her ankle, and it was so bad that she couldn’t walk. I prayed for her, and the next day she was healed. There was also a girl with a bad stomach ache at the workshop. I got the youth to pray for her, and after that she was totally healed.”
It’s also very inspiring for us to hear that many of the youth want to join the Summer Team after seeing us and being with us, which is so amazing for us to hear.

The youth are ready to make an impact

Timisoara for Jesus!
Christian and Lidia, the youth leaders, have also been inspired to want to start a Jesus Revolution group, we are looking forward to see what the future will bring for Timisoara .
