Summer team 2011 has indeed begun, and the exiting preparations for everything that lies ahead of us these two coming weeks are drowning out all thoughts of a normal summer at the beach. As the two workshops with dance and drama are starting to unfold, a beautiful picture emerges, of people from all over the world, coming together to cooperate with complete strangers, but somehow they already have the connection of a brother to a sister. They are gathering in great enthusiasm to work towards a common goal, and with the love and unity that is constantly projecting the participants can sense that the summer team 2011 is constituted of supernatural teamwork.
In the post modern society of today, the common man is nearly blinded of the spiritual reality that is around us. That is exactly why it is so relevant to communicate the spiritual and eternal truths through dancing and drama, – mediums that are able to speak directly to the subconscious and to the inner pictures and comprehensions of reality that lies within every man.
It is truly gripping to watch these young people using their bodies to honor the living God through dancing. Crackling with talent and creativity and in variegated dancing clothes, they compose an explosion of divine inspiration.
Not to mention the drama teams, that contains of the more theatrical characters of the group. With much laughter and joy they put down hours upon hours of hard work to prepare for hitting the streets. A powerful drama telling the story of how Jesus has broken every chain that can bind any human is certain to open up many eyes to the call of The Holy Spirit.
